Project Lifesaver

Persons enrolled in Project Lifesaver wear a small personal transmitter around the wrist or ankle that emits an individualized tracking signal. If an enrolled person goes missing, the caregiver notifies their local Project Lifesaver agency, and a trained emergency team responds to the wanderer’s area. Most who wander are found within a few miles from home, and search times have been reduced from hours and days to minutes. Detailed information regarding each person wearing a Project Lifesaver transmitter is stored on a secure database which can be used by local emergency agencies to obtain critical information needed to initiate the search, identify the person and return them safely to their home.

Care Trak Systems, Inc. Tracking Solutions Perimeter System

The Care Trak Perimeter System establishes an invisible boundary around the home of a person affected by Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder. This system alerts the caregiver if their loved one leaves the home and/or yard. The monitored area is adjustable by the turn of a knob and there is no installation required and no buried wires. The unit is portable as it can also be operated on batteries. As long as the person at risk of wandering wears a Care Trak Transmitter and stays within the designated boundary, no alarm will sound. The designated perimeter can be expanded and restricted to allow for greater flexibility and peace of mind.
