Long-Term Care Waiver Enrollment
The Department of Elder Affairs is conducting¬†three public meetings to discuss changes to the management of the waitlist for the Aged Disabled Adult and Assisted Living Waivers in addition to the development of a single, statewide Medicaid Long-Term Care Waiver program waitlist, to include provisions described in Chapter 409.979, F.S. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss potential strategies and implementation options for a statewide waitlist, gather input from stakeholders, and discuss policies to ensure that seniors will be able to transition seamlessly and safely.
