What are the Area Agencies on Aging?

Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) are private, not-for-profit entities designated by the Older Americans Act to advocate, plan, coordinate and fund a system of elder support services in their respective Planning and Service Areas.

Area Agencies on Aging operate Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) or Aging Resource Centers (ARCs).
