- Information for local government officials interested in learning about the Communities for a Lifetime initiative and how to become a Community for a Lifetime.
The Communities for a Lifetime initiative began in 1999 with the goal of assisting cities and towns throughout Florida in planning and implementing changes that will benefit residents of every age – from children to elders.
The Communities for a Lifetime Bureau developed a Blueprint that describes the initiative and the necessary steps that local government officials need to take in order to help their communities become Communities for a Lifetime.
